Thoughts on Isolation (Waning Gibbous)

Some Definitions:

occurring alone or once : UNIQUE ; Isolation is the state of feeling alone and without friends or help ; setting something apart from others ; the state of being in a place or situation that is separate from others ; the condition of being alone ;

Visited by the 2 of Swords today, in the heart of winter -30F and sunny outside-day off from work (truck incapacitated) I am very much At Home. The Tarot image was one of choosing Isolation.

Creating an extreme moment of quiet contemplation. they has blindfolded themselves, and hold a sword in each hand defensively. Through Today’s eyes I see the desperation to obtain peace of mind.

Facing away from a moonlit cove, and closing their sight and self away from anything that might approach them. I can imagine them announcing “Nobody come near me (threat of death). I’m just going to sit here and listen to the waves until I feel good.”

Sweet little waxing crescent hangs in the sky to match their slippers. Being drawn to the color yellow I feel their is something very mysterious about them, like they hold the secret meaning to the card.

I see this card, and I think “well I don’t even have to try to isolate myself” all the components are manifest in reality. Which is essentially missing the point. Isolation is a perspective.

At first this term feels negative-Isolation-being put apart. Currently I can also see it as spending time apart. Sigh, I think its time to drop the swords and turn and face the scene-peaceful moon gazing tonight.
